Open positions

Please note that several positions (seen below) are still open. Applications for these positions will open again in late summer/early fall 2024. If you are interested, please stay tuned for more information as the time comes closer. We also select events officers and other non-elected roles at the start of each academic year. Check back in Michaelmas 2024 for more information.

  • Our Communications Secretary is in charge of running our social media channels, advertising events, and communicating with our members as well as the university community more broadly. They will have freedom to create their own social media strategy, and will maintain close contact with the President and Secretary to ensure subscription to events and the society more broadly.

  • The Deputy Communications Secretary assists the Communications Secretary in all their duties, including maintenance of the society‘s social media presence, event advertisement and website content creation and maintenance. They also attend Executive Committee meetings alongside the Communications Secretary.
